Dear Musicians,

This year, the city center of Pécs turns into a playground for classical music!

The MUSTRA – Klasszik Street festival in Pécs offers classical performers a chance to present themselves in the iconic squares of the city center. The aim of the festival is to fill the streets with live music, while the audience actively takes part in the experience. 

We are looking for performers who not only play at a high professional level, but are also open to adapting their performance to the space, the passers-by, and the moment. We welcome anything that adds a creative edge: unusual instrumentation, spatially aware performance, costumes, or even a touch of performative character. The key is to maintain the artistic quality of classical music, while keeping it alive, immediate, and memorable.

Grand Prize: 1,000,000 HUF
2nd Prize: Performance opportunity at one of the summer concert series organized by Filharmonia Hungary
3rd Prize: Gift package

Submit your application form by July 31, 2026, and join this fantastic musical adventure on the streets of Pécs!
We will notify you of the results by August 15, 2026 at the latest.
